Writing Mood!

I've been in a writing mood lately (despite having many of my attempts to actually sit down and write thwarted by people who I live with who like to hover over me and bitch whenever I'm not doing schoolwork, or just generally interrogate me over what the hell I'm going) and wanted to try and work on my EPIC ADVENTURE, "Big Guns".

Thus far, the plot is in an Alternate Universe, Kurata Akihiro decides to take off from DATS and rush off into the Digital World with a baby demon koala, for great justice. During a battle against SkullGreymon, weird shit happens and he and his digimon get flung into the Savers universe we all love and chaos ensues.

Well, I've been working out more details of life "back home" in the AU universe. The DATS team there is younger, consisting of what would be the "older" members in the current series, and the star of DATS is of course, Daimon Suguru and his partner Leormon. Well, after Kurata takes off, they get sent after his ass. Problem is... what the hell would Suguru be wearing that isn't spandex? Yes, a conundrum indeed.

I can't help but want to throw in some delicious Sugu x Satsuma somewhere for fun, but it's hard trying to make it fit seriously.

I was thinking... I'd like to be a better artist... Problem is, I can't post a lot of my hand-drawn art because my computer equipment (aka, scanner) is a bit old. I still love the thing, but it only scans TEXT really well. It's so old, it doesn't even know what DPI is. All it has is "color", "B/W", and "Text". I'd like to put this one with the computer downstairs and then get a really nice one (that doesn't rape colored pencil) for this computer.

That and I'd also like to upgrade my RAM to 1 gig (all my comp can manage, sadly) and maybe a bigger HD, since this one is going to die relatively soon. The problem with this? Well, I don't have any money for it. Almost all the money from my actual job is eaten by college (and I'm forbidden to touch it).

So, I figured I might start taking commissions. Not sure on the prices yet or the criteria (the stuff I can/can/will/will not draw), but I figure it might be a decent idea. I'll have to ask around for pricing ideas, since my art isn't particularly great compared to other people that can be commissioned, but hey, it's an idea.

Testing more of those annoying LJ-cuts. I've been spamming the DATS.US oekaki with Kurata-centric doodles... and now it's crapping out in me. So here is happy doodles until I draw some more... eventually.

Oekaki A'splode

The DATS.US oekaki has eaten my soul. I have just drawn so much Savers crack on there, it isn't funny. Why am I classifying it as crack? Well, I don't think Professor Kurata Akihiro and a fucking DEMON KOALA can be considered normal. I am sad, as the bandwidth was exceeded... so I can't finish my awesome pictures.

Oh, yeah, and I was forced to miss my art class today because the cold killed my car battery... again.

My birthday is on the third... still don't know what I want. My parents are thinking of letting me get Digimon Story: Moonlight ^_^.

Ignore the title, the Mai Otome manga has nothing to do with this. Still trying to figure out how to get my galleries to show on LJ... not used to using this thing. Drew lots of happy Savers art and I want to spam it everywhere, but I'm just not good with this site.

'Ello everyone. Getting back into the Digimon drawing spirit, I've decided to make an LJ account dedicated to my art... aside from my main one that I use to occasionally save quiz results.

I'll be working on a pleasing-as-possible layout to make browsing as easy as possible. Might take some time, though, as I need to amass funny icons and make my own Digimon-themed BG images and all this other complicated stuff.
